We’re in step with Empire Outlets

Entering the Empire Outlets, step-by-step, where 100,000 visitors climb each day, is our name prominently displayed.

Empire Outlets is a premiere community project on Staten Island and New York City’s first – and only – outlet mall, costing over $300 million.  This project contributes to the revitalization of the St. George waterfront area of Staten Island, employing more than 1,200 people.  The Empire Outlets complex is 350,000 square feet, bringing 100 outlet stores, a 120,000 square foot 200-room hotel and a parking garage adjacent to the St. George Ferry Terminal.

“We were proud to support this extraordinary community project,” said Carol Decina, Customer and Community Management. “The Staten Island Economic Development Corporation (SIEDC) started in 1993, and we are one of the founding board members (our legacy company, Brooklyn Union Gas).  We have always been a proud partner of the organization and the work they do for the borough.”

SIEDC’s mission is to enhance Staten Island’s economy by promoting public and private investment and encouraging responsible and sustainable development.
