Valentine Day fundraiser helps Habitat for Humanity welcome new homeowners … SWEET!
Employees in Hicksville and Melville, Long Island lent a helping hand – and opened their hearts – to people in need this Valentine’s Day. Through a Hands Together New York fundraiser, they bought mason jars filled with candy, baked goods and more … all to support Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk County. Showing they really ‘had heart,’ employees raised nearly $600 that would provide new homeowners with welcome baskets. Ellen Cooke and Bob Terjesen were the lucky prize drawing winners in Hicksville and Melville.
