Watch VP Ed White on national news show

Ed White Ed White, National Grid’s VP of Customer Strategy and Environmental, will be appearing on this weekend’s episode of White House Chronicle. This weekly national news show airs on approximately 200 media outlets. Locally, it will run on Sunday, Feb. 15 at 11:30 a.m. on Rhode Island PBS and several other channels. This weekend’s program highlights the effects of solar, and other possibly disruptive technologies, on electric grids. Ed was part of a broad discussion on energy efficiency and smart grid technologies. The show explores rooftop solar and micro grids, and informs viewers of how smart grid affects them.
Brian Keane, of SmartPower, was also featured on the program. SmartPower is the company that promotes National Grid’s energy challenges, and is a solar advocate with a large footprint in Rhode Island and Connecticut.

White House Chronicle is a weekly news and public affairs program, airing nationwide on PBS, public access cable and commercial television channels. The program also airs on Sirius XM Satellite Radio.

On Rhode Island PBS, the episode is scheduled to air Sunday, Feb. 15 at 11:30 a.m. on these channels: Rhode Island PBS. Digital 36.1. Cox 08 / 1008HD | Verizon FiOS (RI) 08 / 508HD / (MA) 18 / 518 HD Full Channel 08. Comcast in Southern Massachusetts.

In Washington, where the program originates from WHUT-TV, Channel 32, the episode is scheduled to air Sunday, Feb. 15 at 9 a.m. on WETA, Channel 26; then at 11:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on WHUT, Channel 32.

An audio version of the episode is scheduled to air Feb. 14 -16 on SiriusXM Satellite Radio’s P.O.T.U.S. (Politics of the United States), Channel 124 — Saturday at 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.; Sunday at 2:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.; Monday at 1:30 a.m. All Eastern Time.

The episode is scheduled to air throughout the week on select PBS and public, educational and government (PEG) access stations, the AMGTV network, and worldwide on the English-language stations of Voice of America Television.
