Transmission Commercial Services has the Power to Serve – Dinner
Recently, members of Transmission Commercial Services volunteered to make a meal for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Central New York in Syracuse. This was the second time the team has volunteered to cook there.

Lee Wilder, RMHC House Program Manager, asked if they would once again make their “famous meatloaf,” which apparently was a great hit during the previous visit. The team, led by TCS Director Kathryn “Kat” Cox-Arslan, was happy to comply and made homemade meatloaf, brown rice, fresh broccoli and carrots, rolls and dessert squares.
“It was a great experience and every family that came by while the team was cooking said thank you, mentioned how great it smelled, and how appreciative they were,” Kat said. “The volunteer effort only took a couple of hours but the feeling of satisfaction and knowledge that we made a difference were priceless!”
