Town of Babylon names two of our own as everyday heroes
Long Island’s Town of Babylon has been posting everyday heroes on its Facebook page to thank and recognize people for their hard work during the COVID-19 crisis.
With no great surprise, the husband and wife team of employees Bill and Kathy Wisnewski made the post.
Kathy, Manager of Customer and Community Management, has been actively organizing and participating in meal donations for our front-line workers from the beginning of the outbreak. Bill, Field Inspector for Gas Operations, has been ensuring the safety and reliability of our natural gas service to customers. Together they are quite a formidable team – congratulations, Kathy and Bill!

This morning’s Babylon Heroes are National Grid employees Bill Wisnewski, Field Inspector for Gas Operations and his wife Kathy Wisnewski, Manager of Customer and Community Management are Village of Lindenhurst and Town of Babylon Residents. They are proud National Grid workers who have served the Long Island community for 65 years between the two of them.
Utility workers like Bill and Kathy have continued to provide great service to our area throughout the COVID-19 outbreak to ensure our residents have everything they need at home. Thank you for your hard work.
