Teaming up to spread cheer for kids
National Grid partnered with the Brooklyn Nets to bring cheer to young patients at Maimonides Medical Center. Kids were energized by a surprise visit from Nets player Caris LeVert who shot hoops with them, signed autographs and encouraged them to stay strong.
“National Grid is pleased to join with Maimonides Medical Center to bring a Brooklyn Nets player to meet young patients and boost their morale,” said Keith Rooney, Director Community and Customer Management for NY JDx. “As a local provider of safe and reliable energy services, we are deeply rooted in Brooklyn and giving back to the community is critical to our organization. We strongly believe in supporting local organizations that share our goal in energizing Brooklyn.”
