Ready, set, grow!

Through the Island Harvest Food Bank organization, the IS Commercial Operational Performance Management (OPM) Invoice Team volunteered their afternoon on Wednesday, June 27 at the Brentwood Farm on Long Island. The volunteers weeded and prepared the fields, so vegetables and fruits can be grown to feed the needy. This event demonstrated our company’s commitment to help the communities we serve.

Island Harvest’s Director, Hillary Hess, was impressed by everyone’s hard work and thanked the volunteers for their significant impact on the farm’s field

“Although it was hard work, everyone felt a sense of accomplishment, both individually and as a group,” says Jerry Gaetani, Manager of the Invoice Management group that planned the event. “We made a difference, had a fun time doing it and demonstrated terrific team bonding!”

The group is now looking forward to future volunteer events.
