Every year, National Grid hosts Gilbert Stuart Middle School at a PawSox game at McCoy stadium in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. This year the Company also hosted City Year, a program that pairs young adults with at-risk youth. Check out some highlights from the event!

Below, students, faculty, and National Grid employees enjoy a cookout before the game. The cloudy weather couldn’t dampen anyone’s spirit! PawSox pitcher Robby Scott even stopped to take pictures with the kids.

During each game, National Grid hands out a “Hometown Hero” Award to a recipient who has made a positive impact on his or her community. This game, Justin Roias received the award for his outstanding work during his tenure at City Year.
