Our new Brentwood Consumer Advocacy Center is now open!
It was a day of celebration at the grand opening of the Consumer Advocacy Center in Bentwood, Long Island. The new center will offer one-on-one assistance to our most vulnerable income-eligible customers to meet their home energy needs by connecting customers to our programs and services as well as to other local community agencies. They will also provide energy efficiency tips and gas safety information. Joining the festivities were our consumer advocates, leadership, employees, elected officials and other stakeholders.
The Center is one of the many investments National Grid is making on behalf of its customers as a result of the NYPSC-approved KEDLI rates that went into effect on January 1, 2017.
“We are excited to broaden our reach and help more customers who need and deserve it most,” said John Bruckner, President, National Grid New York. “The new Brentwood Consumer Advocacy Center is just one more example of how we’re assisting customers and communities on Long Island and across New York State”.
John and Ken Daly, COO of National Grid US Electric, congratulated staff and employees on the work they have done to get this center ready to open. Diane Jones, Narcisa (Nachy) Macias and Vaughn Pratt will be our dedicated advocates serving customers in English and Spanish.
