New England VERG volunteer opportunities
The fall is a great time to get outside and volunteer your time. Here are several opportunities for New England employees to volunteer with our Veterans Employee Resource Group (VERG) this September.
Operation Stand Down Rhode Island (OSDRI) – Rhode Island
Volunteers are needed to support OSDRI’s annual Stand Down event at Diamond Hill Park in Cumberland, RI. OSDRI is looking for volunteers to help with three main areas: event setup, registration and clean up.

Saluting Branches – Rhode Island & Massachusetts
Volunteers are needed to help with Saluting Branches events in MA and RI on September 21. During the events, volunteers will be trimming and pruning trees in an effort to help keep the veterans cemeteries a safe and beautiful place for all those who visit.
