Middle-schoolers get lesson in energy, safety, staying in school

Students engaged at Chelsea Middle SchoolThe Wright Middle School in Chelsea, MA sent a note of appreciation to Massachusetts President Marcy Reed for the volunteering three employees did at the school on Wednesday, Oct. 14.

Victor Santana, James Bell and Fouad Dagher taught students about energy, safety and the importance of staying in school to have a successful career.

“Students could barely stay in their seats they were so engaged — both asking and answering questions, trying out small experiments and wearing all of the safety gear,” wrote Steven Rothstein, CEO of Citizen Schools. “Thank you for lending us your employees for the afternoon – they were amazing!”

This is a great story about the kids absorbing all the information that the volunteers delivered. Great story!!!!!
