Longer-than-normal wait times for Open Enrollment phone calls (sorry!)

Open Enrollment imageThe National Grid Benefit Services Center is currently experiencing longer than normal wait times due to the increased volume of calls for the current Benefits Open Enrollment period. We are aware of the issue and are working on a solution to help better serve you. Please remember, Open Enrollment has been extended through November 11 (6:00pm for phone enrollment/12:00 midnight for online enrollment).

For your convenience, please consider using our self-service option by logging onto our Benefits website at nationalgridbenefitservices.com. You will need your User ID and Password to log into this website. Your User ID is your Employee ID. If this is your first time logging into the site, your temporary password is the first letter of your first name in upper case, followed by the first letter of your last name in lower case, followed by the last four digits of your SSN, followed by the year of your birth in the format of YYYY. For example, if your name is Jane Doe, and the last four digits of your SSN are 1234, and your year of birth is 1970, your temporary password would be Jd12341970. If you don’t remember your password, you can re-set it by clicking the ‘Forgot Password’ link from the homepage.

The company has provided an enrollment guide for management employees and a comparison chart of benefit options – sent by email on October 19. These materials, also available on the Rewards and Benefits Infonet site, may help answer your questions about a specific benefit.

Enrollment specialists are available from 8 am to 6 pm ET. If you have enrollment questions or log in issues, please call between the hours of 8 am – 6 pm.

We apologize for any inconvenience this situation may have caused!
