We recently teamed up with local police and fire for the 1st Annual Boston Bruins First Responder Challenge to benefit The 100 Club of MA, Inc. – a nonprofit organization that assists the families of officers killed in the line of duty.

On Sunday, January 22, we sponsored a friendly hockey competition for the nonprofit at the TD Garden. The Massachusetts State Police was the highest fundraising police team with over $30,000 and Wilmington Fire received the honor for fire departments with over $12,900 collected.

On February 28, our president in Massachusetts, Marcy Reed, helped present the BFit Challenge check to The 100 Club in a separate ceremony at the Garden. Marcy was joined by Boston Bruins CEO, Charlie Jacobs, President of the Hundred Club of Massachusetts, John Lynch, Executive Director of the Boston Bruins Foundation, Bob Sweeney, and Boston Bruins Director of Health and Wellness, John Whitesides.
