Why are we celebrating Employee Learning Week?

The HR organization has teamed up to raise awareness of the important connection between learning and achieving organizational results.

Training is more important now than ever before. The growing skills gap and increased need to compete in today’s economy require organizations to develop a knowledgeable and highly skilled workforce.

National Grid realizes the importance of developing our employees in our commitment to provide the tools, resources and opportunities to grow; one of our Elevate 2018 ambitions. We encourage employees to take control of their own development and take advantage of opportunities for continuous learning, mentoring, coaching and on-the-job experiences.
