It’s not goodbye… It’s see you later!
National Grid provided internships to more than 200 students this past summer in positions all across the business. The interns had great positive feedback for the company on their experience:
“National Grid encompasses a wide range of jobs for different skills and interests: Engineering, Business, Human Relations, Marketing, Political Science, to name just a few. The company has so many opportunities that an indecisive student like me can explore different departments within the company to find the best fit.”
“This company’s foundation is rooted in ethics, integrity, and caring for its employees and customers. From what I can see, even though the work can be taxing at times, National Grid goes a long way to care for their employees and their loved ones in the present and future.”
“This experience has given me valuable knowledge that can’t be learned in the classroom. I feel more confident about the educational course I have chosen to take.”
On top of each intern’s individual experience, the company provided several networking events, including weekly sessions where interns would hear from employees in various departments across the company.
One of our interns, Kevin Bouche, along with his manager Jack Walsh (Substation Engineering), was
even featured on the New England Cable Network’s “CEO Corner”!
