Greening Queens

Rochdale Village in Jamaica Queens, the second largest housing cooperative in the world, is our first New York Metro area customer to receive more than $1M in energy efficiency rebates. Over four years the housing complex implemented significant energy efficiency measures resulting in saving about 1.3 million therms annually, reducing energy and their carbon footprint. In terms of preventing greenhouse gas emissions that’s equivalent to taking 1,419 cars off the road or planting 171,759 trees.
