Florida, NY substationMore than three years after Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee struck the capital region and flooded the Amsterdam substation, a new substation was energized in nearby Florida, NY. The new sub has some of the latest technology to detect outages and limit the number of customers without power.
