EEI appoints John Bruckner to its Board of Directors
John Bruckner, Senior Vice President, Operations and Engineering, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Edison Electric Institute (EEI).
The EEI Board of Directors consists of one CEO or senior-level representative from each member company. The mission of EEI is to provide overall leadership to the institute, set direction on policy matters, and elect the chairman, vice chairmen and EEI officers.
“This is a busy and exciting time for the energy industry, and I look forward to representing National Grid as we address critical issues from infrastructure modernization to workforce generation, and find solutions that ultimately benefit our customers,” says John.
EEI is the association that represents all U.S. investor-owned electric companies. Its members provide electricity for 220 million Americans, operate in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, and directly employ more than 500,000 workers. EEI has 70 international electric companies as Affiliate Members and 270 industry suppliers and related organizations as Associate Members.
