Earth Day Support in Action in Western NY

By Dave Bertola

As National Grid employee volunteers gathered to show their Earth Day spirit at events across the company’s service territory, about 30 western New York employees planted trees, spread mulch and cleaned up around Hyde Park Lake on April 21. New York Assemblyman Angelo Morinello and Niagara Falls Mayor Paul Dyster kicked off the day with some welcoming remarks and thanked the team for helping to keep Niagara Falls green.

In all this year, more than 600 volunteers participated in 19 community activities throughout April in all three states served by National Grid.
