Customer Advocates Assist Customers In Need
JoAnn Zales recently spoke to Julie Chapman from Spectrum Cable News in upstate New York.
Zales has been a National Grid employee for 30 years and is dedicated to helping our customers in need of assistance pay their monthly bills. She works with social service agencies, church organizations, community groups and others.
She is part of National Grid’s Customer Advocacy team who assisted more than 22,000 customers last year across 24,000 square miles in upstate New York.
This team has held 1,600 upstate New York outreach events in the past two years.
In our current rate case proposal that is under review at the Public Service Commission, we propose to increase low income credits and assist an additional 55,000 customers.
