Connect21 playing near you!
The future of energy in America is headline news. We’re almost guaranteed to be greeted every morning with a front page article about energy efficiency, renewable energy, climate change, extreme weather, energy security, greenhouse emissions, the need for new gas and electricity infrastructure and more.
It’s exactly why, at National Grid, we introduced Connect21 last March. With the help of customers, communities, and regulators, we plan to advance America’s natural gas and electricity infrastructure beyond its 20th century limitations to create an energy network that is more customer-centric, resilient, agile, efficient, and environmentally sound.
Our community leaders, customers, regulators, and employees tell this compelling story in our new “Tour our 21st century infrastructure” video series.
Our video series starts with an overview of Connect21 and includes footage of the important infrastructure projects we are working on in each of our jurisdictions. Here are just a few you can look forward to learning about:
- Clarkson University’s micro grid project in Upstate New York
- Brooklyn’s biogas facility at Newtown Creek Waste Water Treatment Facility
- Worcester’s Smart Energy Solutions project in Massachusetts
- Rhode Island’s Aquidneck Island reliability project
We’ll feature a new video around every two weeks, so be sure to check back often. We hope you’ll give us your feedback in the comments section below as you take the series’ tour. The future of energy belongs to all of us, and we want to hear your voice.
