Catch that spark – a Connect21 video

CNSE“Let them catch that spark about energy and math and science, right from the get-go.” Ken Daly, President, National Grid New York, is talking about children who haven’t even started kindergarten, but who he envisions as future National Grid employees and customers.

The College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CNSE) in Albany will soon host both pre-K and high school students, in a concerted effort to get students of all ages learning about clean energy solutions and renewable technologies.

At National Grid, we are investing $1 million in economic development grants to Albany’s Tech Valley. We’re excited that our partnership with the city and college will help us integrate more renewable energy into the grid.

On this 8th stop in our Connect21 video series, “catch that spark”, with Ken, Dr. Pradeep Haldar, VP of Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Clean Energy Programs, SUNY Poly CNSE, and Mark Eagan, CEO Capital Region Chamber of Commerce.
