Being recognized for doing the right thing

By Ellen Cooke

We announced it February 12 and we celebrated it March 13.  Just in case you haven’t heard, Ethisphere Institute has named us a World’s Most Ethical company … for the eighth time! We attribute that to the strong ethical culture you’ve all helped build … so thank you again and keep doing the right thing for all of us.

Click here for all the details we shared previously in If you have access, you can also go to Infonet for the logo and sharing guidelines. And see pics below for a peek at how we were honored at the WME Gala in New York City on Tuesday evening, March 13, along with our esteemed fellow WME recipients. Here’s to hopefully another occasion to celebrate next year!

Shown with this year’s trophy are – l-r – Ethics Liaisons Juana Silverio and Laura Tadevossian, US Ethics & Compliance Lead Analyst Kellie Knickerbocker, Ethics Liaison Lorrie Herbert and US Ethics & Compliance Director Bill Holzhauer.

Admittedly is wonderful to be recognized for all the good work you do and I know you guys work hard to ensure we meet and exceed our goals daily in the most professional and ETHICAL ways possible. National Grid really steps up and leads by example. You guys looked great, 2019 here we come…AGAIN!

Lorrie Herbert

It was an amazing experience. I am very honored to have been able to attend such an elegant and prestigious event for National Grid and to be one of the award recipients on behalf of the company.

I am so proud of this company I work for and hats off to the hard working Ethics department for helping National Grid achieve this great honor. Great Job!
