Beautifying Buffalo

By Kathy Hill

Proving the Power to Serve spirit is alive and thriving in Buffalo, two employee volunteer teams recently spent a sunny day giving back to their local community. Working alongside the ‘Jes Breathe’ Neighborhood Block Club, run by Gina Davis, one team spent the day mulching, planting, and cleaning up in a Masten District neighborhood across the street from East High School. Reporting on the day’s events, Natalie Terhaar said, “The school was so thankful to us for revitalizing the garden that they developed a committee of students to keep the garden looking great!”

A second team – Greg Cole, Dan Manley, Walt Wojtanowski, Adam Almeter and Jeff Eddy – returned to perennial Buffalo favorite Gill Creek Park to install new grills and put down mulch.
