Are you a winner … but don’t know it yet?
Do you have a special project that has achieved more than is expected of you in your day job? If so, you are halfway there to a Chairman’s Award.
The National Grid Chairman’s Awards 2016 is fast approaching – submit a well written entry and you may be a winner!
Every day ordinary people in National Grid are contributing in extra-ordinary ways to the betterment of our society and the communities around us. And we recognise that through our National Grid Chairman’s Award.
Last year’s winners clearly demonstrated that our employees go far and beyond the call of duty to make a difference; from easing our US Veterans‘ transition from the military world into a collaborative corporate culture, to providing our customers with a safer and better experience in an emergency.
This year the awards ceremony will be held on June 28 in Boston, USA.
The submissions window opens on November 9 and, for the second year running, entries can be submitted online.
There are seven categories for you to choose from: safety; environment; customer delivery; innovation; community contribution; health and wellbeing; and inclusion and diversity.
To understand what the judges are looking for in each category and give yourself a better chance of winning , take a look at ‘how to submit a great entry’.
You can enter more than one category, but make sure that your submission meets all of the criteria for each category. You must enter each category separately.
The submission deadline is January 31, 2016.
